Last updated: 2026-07-21

Who this notice covers

This notice supplements the Privacy Policy for United States residents. Some statutory rights apply only if BriefScroll meets a state's coverage thresholds and no exception applies. Offering a request method does not concede that a particular law applies.

Categories and purposes

The Privacy Policy describes the account identifiers, user content, reading activity, approximate location, device and diagnostic data, billing state, communications, and derived personalization data we collect; the purposes; the providers that receive it; and our retention criteria. BriefScroll does not sell personal data or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Your choices

  • Request access to personal data associated with your account.
  • Request correction of inaccurate account information.
  • Request deletion, subject to legal and security exceptions.
  • Request a portable copy of data you provided where technically feasible.
  • Opt out of optional page-view analytics in Settings. BriefScroll does not sell data, use targeted advertising, or use reading profiles for legally significant decisions.
  • Receive equal service and pricing when you exercise a privacy right, except where a lawful difference is reasonably related to your data.

How to submit a request

Use in-product export, correction, and deletion controls or email support@briefscroll.com. An authorized agent may submit a request, but we may require proof of authority and direct identity confirmation from you.

We verify requests using information reasonably related to the account and request. We use verification information only to process the request and keep a limited record needed to show our response.

Appeals

If we deny a request and your state gives you an appeal right, reply to the decision or email support@briefscroll.com with the subject Privacy appeal. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and explain any further complaint option.
